We advise owner-managed businesses and families on contracts, employment, property and estates. You deal with one lawyer from start to finish, and you know the cost before we begin.
Practice areas
We do not try to cover everything. When a matter falls outside what we do well, we say so and refer you to a firm we trust.
Drafting and reviewing the agreements a business runs on, written so both sides understand them.
Typical matters: supplier and client terms, shareholder agreements, agency and distribution, NDAs.
Advice for employers, from the first contract to a difficult exit, and for senior employees negotiating terms.
Typical matters: contracts and handbooks, disciplinary procedures, settlement agreements, restructuring.
Buying, selling and leasing commercial and residential property, including due diligence and the notary stage.
Typical matters: purchase reviews, commercial leases, lease renewals, landlord and tenant disputes.
Wills that reflect your situation, including assets in more than one country, and calm help for families after a death.
Typical matters: wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate and estate administration.
Setting up the right structure, registering it and putting the founding documents in order.
Typical matters: limited companies, founder agreements, registered office, annual compliance.

A named lawyer on call for contracts, staff questions and day-to-day matters. Three months' notice.
All fees exclude VAT, court fees, registry charges and notary costs, which we pass on at cost and list in advance.
How we work
The person you meet is the person who does the work, and the one who answers when you call.
A short written note after every meeting: what we found, your options, our recommendation.
Fixed fees where possible, capped estimates where not. Extra work only after you agree to it.
Even if the answer is "we are on it, here is when you will hear from us".

Questions
Any documents you have: the contract, letters, the deed, the will you want to update. If you are unsure, send what you have by email beforehand and we will tell you what is missing.
Yes. Around a third of our clients live in another country. Meetings can be held by video call and most documents can be signed electronically or at a local notary.
We handle negotiations, mediation and pre-action work ourselves. For contested court proceedings we work alongside a litigation firm we know well, and tell you the cost of that in advance.
Usually within five working days. For urgent matters, such as a deadline or a dismissal, call the office and we will do our best to see you the same week.
Yes, from the first message. Everything you tell us is covered by professional confidentiality, whether or not you instruct us afterwards.
Contact
Send a short description of your matter and two times that suit you. We confirm by email the same or next working day.
