the story

Two bakers, one stone oven and a starter older than the shop

Anna and Tomas opened Fennel & Rye in a former print shop on Mill Lane. The starter came with Tomas from his grandmother's kitchen, and it still goes into every loaf.

We mill part of our flour ourselves, ferment our doughs for up to 36 hours and laminate croissants by hand. It takes longer. You can taste why.
